SÃO SEBASTIÃO - SÃO PAULO’S NORTH SHORE

SÃO SEBASTIÃO (1)

The city of São Sebastião, is located on the north coast of the state of São Paulo, Brazil.
It has over 100 km (62 miles) of coastline, covered with rivers, waterfalls, the lush hills of the Atlantic Forest, and abundant wild life.
São Sebastião has 36 diverse beaches. Some with calm waters, others suitable for surfing. Some with small sea villages in primitive stages of development  and pristine surroundings and others bustling with the high society "paulistana" in their mansions by the sea. Some beaches are chosen for families with children and others for the next “spring break” or "summer blast”.

BARRA DO SAHY

44 km (27 miles) far from downtown São Sebastião, Barra do Sahy, which in Portuguese means where the Sahy river meets the Atlantic Ocean, you will find the quiet and rustic village life. It is a place where families enjoy getting together, and where travelers are able to contemplate the picturesque scenes of day-to-day life of the locals.
